Be the Best Award winners for November 09
1st Mick Maloney - Centrica Core, Belfast
Mick's nomination was incredibly impressive. He was complimented for his professionalism, the desire to be No 1, analytical skills, time and respect for the team, listening skills, willingness to get on the phones and lead by example and taking the team away outside work. Mick is an example of what Being the Best as an LBM manager means.
2nd Nicola Morley - Finance, Head Office
Every month there is usually one award that is long overdue and this is it. The feedback on Nicola from other stakeholders in the business is always excellent and her contribution to reducing costs and making good commercial choices for LBM, in areas like printing, has been very impressive.
3rd equal: David Spencer - Data sales, Head Office
David's sales performance is going from strength to strength, but it's his understanding of what is driving this and his willingness to learn and improve and build on this in the future that's most impressive, and a guarantee of future success. A key feature is an understanding that teamwork and positive collaboration with colleagues is fundamental to successfully meeting clients needs. Equally important is doing the hard work to firstly understand our clients needs and only then to show how LBM can help.
3rd equal: Brett Larch - Vodafone, Bredbury
Brett's insatiable appetite to succeed and push the campaign onwards and upwards is a key feature of the recent success of this campaign. Brett shows all the attributes of the classic LBM manager; always looking for more improvements in a desire to Be the Best.
Other LBM employees who narrowly missed out in November were: Nisma Akhtar and Nick Sharples.
